Winning the Serie A title could unlock around €10-15 million for Inter as well as other benefits, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport today, the next few games can result in a very different financial landscape for Inter should they win or lose.

By winning the Scudetto Inter will get €3m more than the Rossoneri in prize money and they will also get €2m more from the television pool which is distributed according to league position.

Winning the league will result in qualification for the Supercoppa Italiana which is worth €3m regardless of the venue of the final. This will trigger sponsorship deals and bonuses which cannot be quantified but are estimated at €2-5m extra with a Scudetto win.

Beyond prize money, it is better for the Nerazzurri brand both within Italy and overseas to have won the title for two seasons in a row. This makes the team more marketable which will translate to financial gain.
