Inter winger Ivan Perisic wants a better deal at Inter but he is also attracted to the idea of being one of the key players in the team next season, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport today, Ivan Perisic is angered by the club’s lack of action when it comes to offering him a new contract. He would like a wage and contract length that accurately reflects his importance to the team this season.

Inter are willing to offer him a two-year extension where he would earn €5 million per season. The Croatian would like to be paid more than that.

One issue he has is an absence of clubs that are willing to sign him in Europe. It is known that he would be open to returning to the Bundesliga in Germany or heading to the Premier League. Another option is to stay and be a leader at Inter.
