Lautaro Martinez wants to stay at Inter and be at the centre of a project that grows in both Serie A and in Europe, though he could still be sold this summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the 24-year-old has made his desire clear although the club could still have their hand forced on a sale if a big enough offer arrives.

Martinez’s future looks to be in the balance this summer, as the Argentine is the most sought-after and most highly valued player in Inter’s squad and the club may well cash in if a significant offer comes in.

However, for his part the striker feels that his home is at Inter, and he would like to be the talismanic player in a Nerazzurri project that would have the capability of establishing itself as a force in Italian football and also in the Champions League.
