Paulo Dybala could be signed to play alongside Lautaro Martinez at Inter next season, or he could come in as a replacement for the 24-year-old in attack.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri’s plans for Martinez are not dependent on whether or not Dybala arrives.

Dybala’s future is not yet certain, but the sense is that the Nerazzurri will make their move for him if he does not decide on a more attractive offer from a club outside of Serie A.

Meanwhile, Martinez’s future is also very much in the balance as the 24-year-old would be one of the main candidates for a sale in the event that the clubs decide to cash in on a big name.

The view of the club is that the two Argentines could play together in the forward line heading into next season, but also that if Martinez is to depart then Dybala would be a suitable replacement.
