Inter are the team most keen to sign Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca during the summer transfer window, with Napoli looking to be their main competition for his signature.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri remain interested in the 23-year-old but that meeting the Neroverdi’s valuation for him could prove to be difficult.

The Nerazzurri have an agreement in place with Scamacca, and their most recent contact with his representatives took place around two weeks ago.

The striker’s desire is to play Champions League football and remain in Italy, and while the likes of Arsenal, Newcaslte United, and Borussia Dortmund have all come forward with interest, a stay in Serie A looks to be the likeliest option.

AC Milan last made contact about Scamacca in March, while recent interest has also come from Napoli.

Scamacca would consider a move to the Partenopei, although in their case they would only move for him in the event that Victor Osimhen is sold in the summer.
