Tension has risen between Inter and Ivan Perisic as the club are yet to offer him the contract that he feels he deserves, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport today, the tension between the two parties inevitably rose when the Croatian made it clear he was angry with the club after the Coppa Italia final victory against Juventus.

The situation has not since been rectified because Inter are still only offering him €4.5 million per season on a deal for two years. The player and his entourage want €6 million per season for two years.

That is why he is thinking of clubs such as Chelsea in the Premier League who are interested and Juventus who feel they are in a great position to sign the wing back.

Inter will meet with Ivan Perisic again at the end of the season to try and agree a deal.
