Ivan Perisic would rather renew with Inter than join Juventus on a free transfer at the end of the season, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport today, the Croatian winger has said to his teammates and the club, via his agent, that he would rather be a Nerazzurri player next season than join the Bianconeri on a free transfer.

There is set to be a new meeting between the club and Ivan Perisic’s entourage next week after the season has ended to see if an agreement can be found.

Inter have so far offered the Croatian €4.5 million per season on a two-year deal. It is believed that the player would like that salary to be raised to €6 million to reflect his importance to the team this season and the fact that he could go to Juventus or Chelsea instead.
