Inter wingback Denzel Dumfries enjoyed a very positive first season in a Nerazzurri shirt, winning the Coppa Italia and the Supercoppa Italiana in addition to reaching the round of sixteen in the Champions League.
Dumfries and his teammates also pushed AC Milan until the final day of the Serie A season even if their season ultimately ended in disappointment in this regard.
Dumfries looked back on the season in a message to fans on his Instagram account.
His message reads, “Winning two titles was amazing! We couldn’t deliver the league, but I couldn’t be more proud of this team for fighting till the end. We will always keep up our heads up knowing what an honour it’s to be a nerazzurro! To all the supporters, thanks for the amazing support!”
