Wingback Ivan Perisic has called Inter coach Simone Inzaghi to inform him of his decision to leave the club and join Tottenham Hotspur on a free transfer this summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the 33-year-old is fully convinced on the move to the Premier League and has notified his coach.

Spurs look to have secured an agreement for Perisic barring any surprises, and the Croat has always harboured an ambition to try out a new adventure in the Premier League.

The wingback has decided to reject the final offer made by the Nerazzurri for a new deal last week, and has accepted the London club’s offer which will see him reunite with Antonio Conte in the English capital.

Inzaghi has been personally informed by the 33-year-old that their time together at Inter has come to an end as he starts preparing for next season in the Premier League.
