Inter have asked midfielder Stefano Sensi to look for a new club ahead of next season.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Nerazzurri have informed the 26-year-old that he is not in their plans going forward and that he is free to leave during the summer transfer window.

Sensi spent the second half of the season just gone on loan at Sampdoria where he found consistent playing time and was relatively injury-free.

However, this spell was not enough to convince Inter that the former Sassuolo man is a player who they want to build around in midfield going into next season.

The 26-year-old has been told as much, and he and his representatives will likely spend the summer transfer window looking for a suitable destination for him on a permanent basis to continue with the momentum established during his loan spell with the Blucerchiati.
