Italian journalist Niccolo Ceccarini has said that Inter’s deal for Cagliari defender Raoul Bellanova could be closed as early as next week, according to a report on social media.

As has been reported by Italian journalist Niccolo Ceccarini on his Twitter page, Inter are getting closer and closer to agreeing on a deal with Cagliari for Raoul Bellanova and reaching an agreement on personal terms with the player.

“Inter, Bellanova closer and closer. The deal with Cagliari can be closed next week.”

Various reports throughout the week have revealed different elements of the possible transfer. One report suggested that the player would only come to Inter if Denzel Dumfries was sold and he knew that there was a chance for regular first-team football.

Another report said that Fiorentina were serious about signing the 22-year-old and will rival Inter for his signature.

Inter have chosen to press ahead with Raoul Bellanova as it is thought that Udinese want a fee of around €20 million for Destiny Udogie.
