Denzel Dumfries will not be included in the negotiations between Inter and Chelsea about Romelu Lukaku in the coming days, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Corriere della Sera today, the Dutch wingback will not be used as a makeweight in the investigation although a separate bid from Chelsea cannot be ruled out.

Despite only signing him one year ago for a very low fee, Inter believe that they could receive a fee of around €50-60 million for Denzel Dumfries this summer.

It is also believed though, that the deal could be closed for around €40 million if negotiations really got underway. Chelsea are certainly very interested in the player and they are waiting for the right moment to make a bid for the former PSV Eindhoven man.

With the talks for Romelu Lukaku focusing on a loan, it is hard to see how Denzel Dumfries will be included.
