A call has been scheduled today to try and reach a final agreement for the loan of Romelu Lukaku to Inter from Chelsea, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by La Repubblica, Inter CEO Beppe Marotta is trying to make the final financial effort to bring the Belgian forward back to the Nerazzurri one year after he left for Chelsea.

A decisive phase of the negotiations is being entered and Inter think they can get a deal for the player that will really suit them.

Chelsea started off by wanting €20 million for the one-year loan and then they dropped that fee to €15 million. Now it seems that they could accept and offer of €10 million from Inter.

Inter started off wanting to pay €5 million with €2 million more in bonuses but today Beppe Marotta could raise the offer to €7.5 million plus bonuses. Romelu Lukaku is desperate for the deal to be done.
