Inter and Chelsea have an agreement in principle on the terms of a paid loan move of striker Romelu Lukaku back to the Nerazzurri.
This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who reports on his homepage that the two clubs have a verbal agreement on a loan fee of €8 million plus add-ons for the 29-year-old.
Inter and Chelsea had another round of talks regarding a move for Lukaku today, and the Nerazzurri raised their offer by €1 million from their previous offer of a €7 million loan fee plus add-ons.
The two clubs are both satisfied with the terms discussed today, and now all that remains is for them to put pen to paper and make the move official based on the terms outlined.
Lukaku will return on loan for the upcoming season, with the Nerazzurri ready to pay a loan fee and the player’s wages for the duration.
