New contacts expected between Inter CEO Beppe Marotta and the representatives of Paulo Dybala soon.

This according to the online edition of La Repubblica, who report that the Nerazzurri executive will give further updates to the Argentine, who is increasingly anxious about his future as Inter have still not wrapped up a deal for him.

The clock looks to be ticking on Inter’s pursuit of Dybala, with the Nerazzurri continually unable to get a deal done due to the surplus of attacking options already in their squad.

The arrival of Romelu Lukaku on loan from Chelsea has made it all but impossible for a deal to be done for Dybala, but the real problem could be the Nerazzurri’s difficulties offloading Alexis Sanchez and Edin Dzeko.

As things get further into the transfer window, Dybala is wondering about what will come of his situation with the Nerazzurri, having at one point looked very close to a move.

Marotta will have direct contacts where he will explain to the player and his representatives where things stand, and the CEO could well decide to speed things up towards signing the 28-year-old.

The terms of the Nerazzurri’s offer remain €5 million net per season for the player, plus €1 million in add-ons linked to appearances, should they decide to close on a deal.
