Inter midfielder Roberto Gagliardini and Henrikh Mkhitaryan are in preseason training, but both are starting out training individually due to injuries.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that Gagliardini is still dealing with a foot injury picked up towards the end of last season, while Mkhitaryan is just finishing his recovery from a muscle problem.

The Nerazzurri’s squad has begun to assemble for the preseason training period, and while not all of the players have arrived yet, a number of players who had not had a full international break at the end of the season have.

Gagliardini and Mkhiataryan are among these, but they will begin the training retreat by working individually.

Gagliardini is still recovering from his foot injury, whilst Mkhitaryan is still dealing with a muscle injury which he picked up playing for Roma in the Europa Conference League final against Feyenoord, though that should only take him a couple days to get past fully.
