Inter Not Interested In Signing Francesco Acerbi Who’s Destined To Leave Lazio, Italian Media Report

Inter are not interested in moving to sign defender Francesco Acerbi who looks to be on his way out from Lazio this summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri are not a potential destination for the 34-year-old, whilst AC Milan are in the race and Napoli could also sign him if Kalidou Koulibaly leaves.

Acerbi’s departure from the Biancoelesti looks to be inevitable this summer, and the defender is aiming to join a top club with Champions League football for next season.

Inter have been among the teams linked with the 34-year-old’s signature for some time, with the player seen as a reliable option and having a good relationship with coach Simone Inzaghi already.

However, the Nerazzurri’s priorities lay elsewhere as far as defensive signings, and Acerbi is closer to a move to either city rivals the Rossoneri or to the Partenopei.
