Paris Saint-Germain are on the verge of getting a deal done to sign defender Milan Skriniar from Inter, and could have things wrapped up within the next day or so.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the 27-year-old will make the switch for around €65 million including add-ons, with the clubs now right on the verge of total agreement.

An in-person meeting took place between Inter and PSG on Friday, whilst telephone contacts took place yesterday in which the two clubs got even closer to an agreement.

The Parisians are ready to make an offer that Inter are satisfied with, with the total of around €65 million close enough to the Nerazzurri’s asking price to allow them to meet financial targets and move on with other important transfer business such as signing Torino’s Bremer.

Skriniar will sign a five-year deal with the French champions which will see him earn €7.7 million net per season.
