Sassuolo are ready to rival Torino for the signing of Inter Primavera midfielder Cesare Casadei this summer.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Neroverdi have reemerged as candidates to bring the 19-year-old in this summer, likely on loan.
There is no shortage of transfer interest in Casadei, who shone with the Primavera team last season as they won the Under-19 championship.
The Nerazzurri are thinking about the right next step for the young midfielder as he aims to take his first big step into the senior game.
Torino have emerged as suitors for the 19-year-old, who could be sent to the Granata as part of a deal for defender Bremer coming to the Nerazzurri.
However, a number of other clubs are also interested in Casadei, and Sassuolo have once again registered serious interest in signing the midfielder for next season.
