Paulo Dybala is back in Italy where he is hurrying up trying to decide on his future, and Napoli now look to be in pole position for his signature ahead of Inter.
This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the 28-year-old is meeting with his agent Jorge Antun to speak about why a move to the Nerazzurri hasn’t happened yet, and ready to accept a move to a different club, with the Parenopei leading the pack.
Dybala is increasingly anxious for clarification regarding his future, with just a little over a month before the new season begins and the Argentine still being without a club.
After having looked very close to joining Inter, the talks have been put on standby, possibly permanently, after the Nerazzurri prioritized signing Romelu Lukaku instead, and while the player would have welcomed the move, he is now prepared to look elsewhere.
Napoli look to be in a strong position to sign Dybala, although the issue of image rights remains a significant obstacle to a deal being done.
Meanwhile, Roma could move for the Argentine once Nicolo Zaniolo is sold, whilst AC Milan are interested but are prioritizing a move for Club Brugge striker Charles De Ketelaere, and the player is also waiting to see if Atletico Madrid make him an offer.
