Other Serie A teams need multiple different players to carry out the duties that Marcelo Brozovic does for Inter by himself, according to a report in the Italian print media today.
As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport today, the Croatian midfielder is so important for Inter because he plays the role of many different types of midfielder.
It is pointed out that Juventus are lacking a proper director in the middle of the park and they will need Manuel Locatelli and Paulo Pogba to share that role next season.
At AC Milan the role seemed to be shared by Ismael Bennacer and Sandro Tonali and that will likely be the case next season.
For Napoli, Stanislav Lobotka and Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa have the role and for Atalanta, there is Teun Koopmeiners and Remo Freuler sharing the responsibility.
That is why Inter were so keen to make him sign a new contract last season.
