Midfielder Roberto Gagliardini is a doubt for Inter in this evening’s friendly clash with Monaco, whilst Andrea Pinamonti will not likely be risked.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who also predict that the players who have recently returned to training following extended participation in the international break will not be used from the start.
Gagliardini could be back for the match, but has been dealing with a minor knock, while Pinamonti has recovered from some muscular discomfort but is unlikely to be included given that a sale looks to be imminent for the 23-year-old.
Meanwhile, of the players to have recently returned from international duty, including Denzel Dumfries, Alessandro Bastoni, Nicolo Barella, Stefan de Vrij, and Marcelo Brozovic, the Corriere predicts that only Federico Dimarco is likely to be in the starting eleven.
Alexis Sanchez is not likely to be used as the club are looking to offload the Chilean this summer.
