Inter are still in a position to sign Paulo Dybala, but they must get the departure of Alexis Sanchez wrapped up first before they are able to do so and time is running out.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the Nerazzurri will meet with Sanchez’s agent to try and agree an exit so they are able to wrap up the signing of Dybala with Roma and Napoli now poised to swoop for him.

Time is of the essence in Inter’s chase of Dybala, with both the Giallorossi and the Partenopei now well aware that the player is running out of patience to find a new club for the upcoming season.

For the time being, it is still the Nerazzurri who are on course to sign the 28-year-old, but they cannot stall for much longer, and offloading Sanchez would send an important signal that they are making ready to bring him in.

To this end, Inter will meet with Sanchez’s agent Fernando Felicevich by the end of this week to try and finally get things sorted out regarding his departure, with the Chilean having so far rejected the offer of €4 million in severance pay to leave.
