Inter would still be interested in signing Lazio defender Francesco Acerbi this summer in the event that other defensive targets do not pan out.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Nerazzurri have the 34-year-old on their list alongside other targets, and that the Biancocelesti value him at around €5 million.
Inter’s defense looks to be in more flux than it’s ever been, with both the signing of Bremer from Torino and Milan Skriniar’s sale to Paris Saint-Germain held up, whilst Andrea Ranocchia has yet to be replaced at the back.
Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic and Borussia Dortmund’s Manuel Akanji are top targets, whilst the Nerazzurri could also join Napoli and Rennes in the race for Fenerbahce’s Kim Min-Jae who has a €20 million release clause.
Acerbi could represent yet another option for Inter, as he would be available for a €5 million fee and has worked with coach Simone Inzaghi before at Lazio.
