Inter are in talks with Fiorentina to sign defender Nikola Milenkovic, who they have made a priority target following a failure to sign Torino’s Bremer.
This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who reports on his homepage that the Nerazzurri have made the 24-year-old a major target to strengthen the defense now that Bremer is headed to Juventus.
Milenkovic has been on Inter’s radar for some time as they’ve considered how to strengthen the backline ahead of next season, either as a replacement for Milan Skriniar should the Slovakian, but also as an alternative to Bremer.
Skriniar looks set to stay now that Bremer has agreed to join the Bianconeri, but the Nerazzurri are still looking to sign another defender, and Milenkovic has been one of the top names on their list for much of the summer.
According to Di Marzio, the contacts between the Nerazzurri and La Viola for the Serb are ongoing.
