Both Edin Dzeko and Joaquin Correa are determined to play a big role for Inter this season after being linked with moves away from the club, according to a report in the Italian media.
As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the two players are fully aware that they will be the backups for Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku next season but they want to prove that they can be effective whenever they are called upon.
Inter seemed very open to listening to offers for both players whilst they were still in the hunt to bring in Paulo Dybala on a free transfer.
Now that he has joined AS Roma and the two strikers look destined to remain at the club, they want to show that they should not be considered as transferable.
Joaquin Correa in particular wants to show more than last season as he only managed to get six goals.
