Inter president Steven Zhang will have the final say on whether Inter will pursue a deal for Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic or not in the coming weeks, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.
As has been reported by Sky Sport 24, via FCInternews, the president is going to be the man who decides if Inter will spend money on Nikola Milenkovic this summer rather than the CEO Beppe Marotta.
Now that it seems Milan Skriniar will be remaining at the club, Nikole Milenkovic would only be joining as a backup player to rotate with the main three defenders. That puts a different on his €15-20 million price tag.
Inter now seem more interested in cheaper and younger options to provide defensive depth but if anyone is going to decide that he should be signed, it will be Steven Zhang.
The likes of Empoli’s Mattia Viti and Arsenal’s Pablo Mari have been linked.
