Suning do not intend to sell Inter any time soon and one of the reasons for that is the chance to build a new stadium, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Tuttosport, there are a couple of different reasons for the Chinese ownership not wanting to relinquish control of the club.

One is the still open chance of building a new stadium that will seriously boost overall revenues. Another reason is that the club’s overall value has been rising and should continue to do so.

The downside of their ownership is that they are burning through €200 million per year and that is why the Oaktree loan had to be taken out and repaid by 2024.

The settlement agreement that many clubs including Juventus, Roma and Inter have signed will also lead to some financial hardship for the club to endure soon.
