Several Inter starters are back ready to appear as part of the starting eleven in this evening’s friendly clash with Lens.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who predict that all of Alessandro Bastoni, Nicolo Barella, and Denzel Dumfries will play from the start against the French team.

So far Inter’s two friendly matches, against Lugano and Monaco, have mostly been opportunities for the coach to experiment with his tactics and for new signings to bed into the team.

Many of the Nerazzurri’s key starting players from the season just gone had been extensively involved in international duty during the international break following the end of the season, so were granted a few more days of rest before returning to training.

However, players like Bastoni, Barella, and Dumfries are now getting back to full fitness and ready to start getting more minutes in their leg as the coach looks to shape his first-choice team for the start of the new season a few weeks away.
