Inter forward Alexis Sanchez still considers a move to Barcelona to be his priority if he leaves the Nerazzurri, despite the interest of Marseille in his signature.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Chilean is still holding out for a transfer back to the Blaugranas if he is to agree a departure from the Nerazzurri.

Inter are pushing to find an exit for Sanchez, as offloading the 33-year-old is one of the key objectives for them to slash their wage bill in accordance with their plans for the summer transfer window.

The player could agree on leaving but only if he finds a club that he’s happy with, and a move back to his former club Barcelona is still foremost in his thinking.

Marseille have emerged as a possible destination for the 33-year-old, but in his mind the dream of a return to Barcelona remains.
