Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti is still waiting to join Atalanta despite the fact that Salernitana have agreed a deal with the Nerazzurri to sign him.
This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the 23-year-old is yet to be convinced by Salernitana’s project and is still hoping for a move to La Dea, although they have not yet managed to reach an agreement with Inter.
Pinamonti has been the subject of a number of clubs’ interest during the summer transfer window, including Monza and Sassuolo, and Atalanta would be the club he is most keen to join.
However, the Lombard team have not managed to convince Inter yet, whereas Salernitana have made an offer which the Nerazzurri would be ready to accept.
Meanwhile, Inter are also still interested in signing Atalanta defender Merih Demiral, but they would like to keep any negotiations for the Turk separate from those involving Pinamonti.
