Inter Sporting Director Piero Ausilio wants to keep hold of young midfielder Cesare Casadei and is ready to resist the interest of Chelsea in signing him.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Nerazzurri Sporting Director is particularly keen to keep control of the 19-year-old’s future.

Chelsea are the latest team to emerge with an interest in signing Casadei, with the midfielder having been on the Blues’ radar for some time.

Casadei had been linked with Torino as part of unsuccessful talks for defender Bremer, whilst the Granata and a number of other Italian teams are still interested in signing him.

The Nerazzurri are open to letting Casadei leave, but only if it is on loan or if a buyback clause is inserted into a deal.

Chelsea are not interested in making a deal for the 19-year-old which includes a buyback option, and so for this reason Ausilio does not want to make a deal for the highly-rated young player.
