Inter coach Simone Inzaghi has been given clear assurances by both Milan Skriniar and Denzel Dumfries that they are as committed as ever despite transfer rumours this summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the coach has spoken to both of the duo about their situations and that he feels that they’re not distracted by having been linked with moves away during the transfer window.

Skriniar has been chased by Paris Saint-Germain for much of the transfer window, although the Parisians’ interest has cooled off quite a bit in recent weeks and the Nerazzurri now look much more inclined to keep him.

Meanwhile, Dumfries has emerged as a target for clubs in the Premier League, particularly Chelsea, although the Nerazzurri have slapped a very high price tag on the Dutchman.

Inzaghi considers both players to be very important to the team and has spoken to each of them to make sure that their performances will not be affected by the uncertainty around their situations.
