Inter are evaluating low-cost options to bolster the defensive area and they do not want to sell more players, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

As has been reported by Gianluca Di Marzio whilst on Sky Sport, via FCInter1908, the Nerazzurri are now looking seriously at who they can get on a cheap deal to make sure that they have enough defenders for the new season given Andrea Ranocchia has not yet been replaced.

Targets such as Manuel Akanji, Jean-Clair Todibo and Francesco Acerbi are being looked at very seriously although the first two could cost too much money.

The hierarchy at the club are insistent that they do not want to lose any more key players which means Milan Skriniar or Denzel Dumfries.

That being said it cannot be riled out that the owners will decide to accept a bid should it come in and be for enough money.
