The transfer of defender Thilo Kehrer to West Ham United could open the door for Paris Saint-Germain to make a move for another defender, with Inter’s Milan Skriniar still a target.

This according to the French Associated Press, via FCInterNews, who report that the Parisians would be looking to reinforce their defense with one more signing now that Kehrere looks set to depart.

PSG have already signed one defender in the form of the versatile Nordi Mukiele from RB Leipzig, but given that they’re now close to offloading the out-of-favour Kehrer to the Premier League, their intention seems clear to sign one more defender.

The French champions have a number of targets, but Skriniar is still certainly foremost among them, and it could remain to be seen whether they decide to test the Nerazzurri’s resolve by making another big offer for him now that they have a space open in their squad.
