Inter will record the entire €15 million fee plus add-ons that they receive from Chelsea for midfielder Cesare Casadei as capital gains.

This according to Italian football finance news outlet Calcio e Finanza, who report that the Nerazzurri will make a significant capital gain from the sale of the 19-year-old given that he comes from their academy and they did not pay a transfer fee to sign him.

Casadei joined Inter’s academy in 2018, rejecting a number of other clubs including Chelsea at the time to join the Nerazzurri’s youth sector, although the Blues never lost interest in him and continued to see him as a prospect for the future.

Now, Chelsea are on the verge of signing Casadei from Inter for a total fee of €15 million initially plus around €5 million in potential add-ons.

Given that the midfielder is an academy graduate, being able to record the entire fee received from the Blues for him as capital gains would be a significant benefit for Inter.
