Bayer Leverkusen only want to sign Inter wingback Robin Gosens on loan without a purchase obligation, and the talks with Inter could fall apart if they do not accept such an obligation.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri will not let the 28-year-old leave on a dry loan or a loan containing only a purchase option.

Leverkusen are pushing to sign Gosens, with the Bundesliga team meeting with the Nerazzurri yesterday with the aim of trying to get a deal for the German wrapped up before the transfer window closes.

The Nerazzurri are willing to listen to offers, but they would expect a guarantee of cashing in on the former Atalanta wingback if they are to allow him to depart.

For now Leverkusen have not yet opened up to a purchase obligation and so the negotiations are at a standstill, and are likely to remain so unless the Germans offer what Inter want before the transfer window slams shut.
