Inter goalkeeper Alex Cordaz has undergone tests after suffering an injury to his knee in training which could keep hum out of action for a while, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by FCInternews today, the veteran goalkeeper suffered some damage to his medial collateral ligament in the left knee in training on Wednesday night and he then had tests on Thursday to assess the full extent of the damage.

He will continue to be assessed over the coming weeks but it will certainly be a while before he can retake his place on the Nerazzurri bench.

It is not a blow for Inter in the sense that he is behind both Samir Handanovic and Andre Onana in the pecking order, but his absence could become a problem if there was an injury to another goalkeeper in the near future which can never be ruled out.
