Inter duo Joaquin Correa and Romelu Lukaku will both miss the match against Sassuolo whilst Robin Gosens and Kristjan Asllani may start, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport ahead of Saturday’s match, there is going to be two forwards missing for Simone Inzaghi.

Joaquin Correa has suffered a knee injury and it already seems very unlikely that he will play a role against the Neroverdi on Saturday.

Romelu Lukaku has not recovered in time from his injury but he has his sights set on the return match against Barcelona at Camp Nou. At most he could feature on the bench against Sassuolo.

Robin Gosens and Kristjan Asllani are both serious candidates to start the Serie A match as they did not start against Barcelona.

There is also an outside chance that Andre Onana may start his first league game for Inter.
