Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi doesn’t want to see his team over-awed by facing Barcelona at the Camp Nou this evening.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the coach wants the team to simply play their football despite the hostile surroundings.

Even apart from the fact that Barcelona are one of the strongest teams in Europe on the pitch, facing them at the Camp Nou is an intense experience.

The Blaugranas’ stadium has an intense atmosphere that could make life very difficult for the Nerazzurri players mentally.

However, Inzaghi wants his players to put the hostility of the crowd out of their minds and simply play as they’ve prepared to.

The coach has faith in the quality of his players and the effectiveness of the tried-and-true 3-5-2 formation.

As such, he has emphasized to his players that if they can just avoid being affected by the atmosphere and play the way they know how to, they have every chance of getting a result.
