Inter striker Romelu Lukaku is not expected to be rushed back for the Salernitana game given Joaquin Correa could recover in time, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport, the Belgian forward does not seem to be quite ready to play a role against Salernitana on Sunday and the Nerazzurri are not going to rush him.

They know that aggravating the injury at this stage would be catastrophic, given he has already missed 10 games since the incident.

Another factor that means there is little point in rushing him is that Joaquin Correa is ready to return to group training and should be able to play a role at San Siro on Sunday.

The fact that Lautaro Martinez scored against Barcelona suggests that he could be back in form and Edin Dzeko is certainly in good form, so there is less rush for Romelu Lukaku.
