Inter are confident that Milan Skriniar will accept a new contract that sees him earn €6 million per season as well as bonuses, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Tuttosport, the Nerazzurri remain confident that they can convince the Slovakian defender to stay at the club.

His current contract is set to run out in June 2023 and Paris Saint-Germain are very serious about signing him on a free transfer for next season.

The fact that Inter are almost assured of a place in the Round of 16 of the Champions League strengthens their bargaining position.

Inter recently made him captain for a game too which shows faith in his abilities.

For that reason and the Champions League money coming into the club, they will make him an offer of €6 million per season excluding bonuses.

That puts him in line with the likes of Marcelo Brozovic and Lautaro Martinez.
