Inter are set to hold their next shareholders’ meeting this coming Friday, and President Steven Zhang will be in attendance to discuss a €140 million loss.

As reported in today’s print edition of Milan-based Gazzetta dello Sport, Zhang has flown back to Italy this week and will attend the summit in person.

It is expectated that he will shed further light on the plans to tackle the losses posted in the accounts for the most recent fiscal year.

The Nerazzurri closed their accounts on 30 June 2022 with huge losses amounting to €140 million and the newspaper reports that this has accelerated rumours of a potential sale by owners Suning, and this could in turn prompt Zhang to speak out on 28 October.

Zhang is set to attend Inter’s Serie A match against Fiorentina this evening, as well as their Champions League fixture against Viktoria Plzen on Tuesday, ahead of the shareholders’ meeting at the end of the week.
