Inter’s focus is on the preparations for this week’s Champions League group stage clash with Viktoria Plzen rather than on post-match controversy following their 4-3 Serie A win over Fiorentina.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Nerazzurri have been quiet on the aftermath of Saturday’s match at the Stadio Artemio Franchi which they want to put behind them.

Fiorentina have been very public in the aftermath of Saturday’s match.

La Viola have officially demanded an apology for the incidents in the chaotic end to the match from Inter, whilst some refereeing decisions have continued to be controversial.

However, Inter for their part do not see any reason to dwell on the controversies, and have made an effort not to fan the flames.

The Nerazzurri face a massive match in the context of their season when they face Plzen in the Champions League on Wednesday.

Inter can qualify for the knockout rounds of Europe’s top competition for the second season in a row if they are able to beat the Czechs.

Accordingly, the aim has been to avoid the distractions posed by post-match controversies with Fiorentina in preparing for Wednesday’s match.
