Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic is hoping to be fit enough to face Juventus in Serie A next month, although he is unlikely to be fit enough to face Sampdoria.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the 29-year-old is not likely to be ready to face the Blucerchiati next weekend even though his recovery from injury is in sight.

It should not be too long before Brozovic is back on the pitch.

The Croat is getting closer and closer to a full recovery from the thigh injury that he sustained during the September international break.

It is not likely at all the Brozovic will be fit enough to be included in the squad for Saturday’s match against Sampdoria, however.

The following weekend’s clash with the Bianconeri would not be an unreasonable target for the Croat at this stage, though.

Accordingly, this is the date that Brozovic is aiming to return.
