Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic could be back in the squad from injury as early as this Saturday’s Serie A clash with Sampdoria.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the 29-year-old is now not long away at all from his return from injury.

Brozovic has missed the past month recovering from a thigh injury that he picked up during the September international break.

The feeling is now that it is only a matter of days before the Croat can make his way back into the team, however.

Brozovic was not part of the squad for yesterday evening’s Champions League group stage match against Viktoria Plzen, a 4-0 Nerazzurri win.

However, the 29-year-old looks to be ready to be back in the squad within the next couple of matches.

Inter host Sampdoria at the San Siro on the weekend, and Brozovic could already be ready to be part of the squad for that match.
