Inter striker Romelu Lukaku’s long-awaited return to the pitch can signal a new beginning for the team.

This is the view in today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who suggest that the Belgian being back adds something to the team that can be a starting point to build more and more improvements upon.

Inter have coped alright in Lukaku’s absence over the past couple months, as they’ve gotten over some bad form to find their feet, and qualification for the Champions League knockouts from the “group of death” is a huge achievement without the Belgian.

However, Lukaku being back gives the team a whole new dimension.

The 29-year-old was only on the pitch for a cameo appearance against Viktoria Plzen yesterday, but he used the time he had to show the Nerazzurri exactly what they’ve been missing.

Now, Inter can start to think about really spreading their wings and developing their style of play around a man who they’ve not been able to call upon for the past two months.
