Inter have already made the decision to offer striker Edin Dzeko and wingback Matteo Darmian contract extensions past the end of the current season.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri are ready to make the pair the next players to be handed new deals after they wrap up an agreement with defender Milan Skriniar.

Both Dzeko and Darmian see their current contracts expire at the end of June 2023.

Given the experienced duo’s age, it has certainly not been a foregone conclusion that they would be offered new contracts by the Nerazzurri.

However, in both cases the feeling is that they continue to deliver on the pitch.

Moreover, both players are very positive influences in the dressing room.

Therefore, it is very much on Inter’s agenda to try and extend the contracts of both Dzeko and Darmian past next summer.
