Inter could look to use sales of wingback Robin Gosens and midfielder Roberto Gagliardini to finance a move for Borussia Monchengladbach forward Marcus Thuram during the January transfer window.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, who reported earlier today via L’Interista that the Nerazzurri could look to make a similar move to the ones that brought both Gosens and Gagliardini to the club in the first place.

As Mediaset note, Inter are no strangers to bringing players in during the January transfer window.

Gagliardini arrived in January of 2017 from Atalanta, whilst Gosens was another signing from La Dea, in January of this year.

Making a significant signing in the January window could prove tough given the current financial situation at Inter.

However, Mediaset report that if Inter can cash in on both Gagliardini and Gosens, it could make a move for Thuram in January, six months from the end of his contract with Gladbach, financially viable.
