Inter wingback Denzel Dumfries helped the Dutch national team to exactly the kind of start that they’ll have wanted at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

The 26-year-old started for the Oranje as they beat Senegal 2-0 in their group stage opener, an important result as Dumfries and his teammates aim to reach the knockout stages and beyond at international football’s greatest showcase.

Inter congratulated the 26-year-old on being the first Inter player to showcase his talents at the tournament in a post on their official Twitter account.
